past-life recall:

centipede exoskeletons
trace dark lines
of rigor mortis

those
creeping parasitic assassins
dig a grave in my heart
while I play solitaire

dead/alive
the bank keeps calling
screen blinks

I retouch my makeup:
disintegration

strange vaporous violets
with glitching fingers
whisper
with chopsticks

they share things
like morphine,
ketamine
and mass extermination

these violent beings
peel hardened propylene
off their servants’ backs

luminous devils rise above the fire
they look like death tastes

strangling restless languages
feeding appetites
of the unholy
tentacles from your mouth

spoken delirium, spoken in vain...
from your lips where other dead things
await your breath
